Last weekend my oldest daughters Kaley and Aria and I got to attend an event by Chopt Salad. Instagram @ChoptSalad. The event was about their new addition to the menu dedicated to children. Chopt now has a children’s menu and all kids were eating for free for that day! I cannot wait to share the photos I captured of the fun we had.
For those of you that don’t know about Chopt, they travel around the world tasting, exploring food cultures, markets, trends, high quality sourced ingredients, and unexpected inspiration to continually reimagine and change expectations of what salad can be. From the Chopt menu (Chopt.core) to seasonal offerings, you are sure to find the taste you will love!
As soon as we entered the event we were greeted by some of the workers passing by, they were all smiling and was sure to say hello to all 3 of us as well as told me if I needed anything to be sure to let them know. Friendly staff is definitely a one way ticket to my heart!
While we walked around looking at the setup, we were offered samples. Of course my girls didn’t hesitate to try everything that was offered to them.
The first thing we did was go get a balloon animal, both Kaley and Aria chose to get a ballon dog while I went to get in line to get our food. The menu has so many options that I was in awe of the choices we had. With the over eighteen inspired, house made dressings there’s no shortage in flavor.
Below I will he adding the Chopt Jr meals that they have to offer:
Chopt Jr. Meal Offerings
● Kid’s Craft Salad
○ A salad with chicken, two choppings, and your favorite dressing. Includes a snack and drink.
● Kid’s Craft Warm Bowl
○ Chicken, two choppings and your favorite dressing. Includes a snack and drink.
● Kid’s Craft Plate
○ Warm grains, chicken, two choppings and your favorite dressing. Includes a snack and drink.
● Melty Quesadipper
○ Chicken or Black bean + 2 dressings of choice. Includes a drink and snack. (pair with Buttermilk Ranch)
● Panko-Crusted Chicken Dippers
○ Chicken Tenders with two of your favorite dipping sauces. Includes a snack and drink. (pair with Buttermilk Ranch)
● White Cheddar Mac and Cheese
○ Includes a snack and drink.
Kaley and Aria were able to pick three items from the kids menu to try, they of course went for the Kids Craft Salad with the Chopt house Ranch dressing. Panko-Crusted chicken dippers and a Melty Quesadipper. All of which they loved as well as I got to have a few bites of. The salad was perfect, the panko chicken dippers were juicy and full of flavor, it was Kaley and Arias favorite of them all. The Quesadipper was really good as well, the chopped up chicken and extra meaty cheese was amazing.
After we made ourselves miserable from overeating, we headed over to the artist because Kaley and Aria were DYING to have the artist draw a photo of them. He was amazing and so very talented! He did these drawings in under 5 minutes. (I’ll share photos below)
In all, our experience was amazing, Chopt Salad In Charlotte, NC (Blakeney) had amazing people working there, it was very clean and everyone was working as a team to make sure their customers was served and given what they wanted. I plan to make it out to Chopt salad again soon but this time I will bring my husband as well as Jameson and Indie.
Be sure to check out a Chopt Salad bear you and you can view Chopt Salads menu at Chopt.core. They also offer online ordering to make it so much easier on you.
Thank you so much for reading and viewing my photos of our fun!

Wow, such a nice event that will help kids to choose to eat a good and healthy food. My favorite part is when they’re faces are drawn by that artist.
My girl would have loved to do something like this. Places around here just don’t do this kind of stuff!
What a great event to encourage kids to enjoy their veggies! Your daughters look so sweet!!
